Message From chairman

Namaste,
Welcome to Muktinath Hotel & Restaurant Association.
As the foundational body representing hoteliers across the Muktinath region—from the serene valleys of Jomsom to the sacred trails of Kagbeni and Ranipauwa—the Muktinath Hotel & Restaurant Association (MHRA) stands committed to upholding a legacy of hospitality, social responsibility, and community service. Rooted in values of diversity, inclusion, cultural respect, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability, we continue to build on our history of service-driven leadership.
The Muktinath Hotel & Restaurant Association is Nepal’s leading voice for tourism and hospitality in the Mustang region, serving as a vital arm of the Central Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN). With over 80 hotels, including star-rated lodgings, boutique guesthouses, and traditional home stays, as well as 40 restaurants offering local and international cuisine, MHRA is helping shape the future of tourism in the Himalayas while supporting our members’ growth and excellence in service.
Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, the Muktinath region offers a unique blend of spiritual, cultural, and natural experiences. The sacred temple of Muktinath—revered by Hindus and Buddhists alike—draws pilgrims and travelers from around the world. Alongside this spiritual journey, visitors are treated to breathtaking mountain views, ancient monasteries, and the warm hospitality of the Thakali and Gurung communities.
The region is also a gateway to some of Nepal’s most stunning trekking trails, including the famed Annapurna Circuit. From the windswept plateaus of Mustang to the mystical caves of Lomanthang, every step uncovers a story of heritage, resilience, and beauty.
On behalf of our entire hotel, restaurant, and tourism community, I warmly invite you to experience the magic of Muktinath. Let the natural wonders, sacred landscapes, and heartfelt hospitality guide your journey—where every moment feels like a touch of heaven on Earth.
